Rescue Engine & Truck assist on confined space rescue

Washington County ECC dispatched companies 1, 6, 19, SO20 for the reported person trapped in a silo. Deputy Chief 1 (Mullendore) arrived and assumed command. Units arrived and investigated and found 3 people in the silo, one buried up to his chest. Confined Space Techs arrived and quickly removed two victims and began the long operation of freeing the trapped patient. the operation last approximately 5 hours with the patient refusing treatment after being freed.
