| Labor Day weekend 2026 was relatively quiet, with crews from Station 6 and Station 8 responding to several vehicle accidents and medical emergencies. In addition to these calls, firefighters spent time cleaning and detailing Engine 61, as well as handling other routine station duties, including mowing the grass at Station 8.
In the days preceding the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, the Great American Relay made its way through Boonsboro. The community supported this tribute event at the Boonsboro American Legion, at Fire Station 6, and by having one of its members lead two segments of the relay run in Montgomery County this morning. |
