The Boonsboro crew, along with Clear Spring and Middletown formed a work crew to knock down and contain a large area of fire. The crew worked through the night to contain the spread. Crew cleared the scene around 03:00.

3/22/24 13:35 hours. Wildland 8 crew along with crew from Williamsport and Safety 206, responded back to the Mathias Wv. area. The crew was moved to a large fire in the Waites Run area. On arrival, crew attacked a 50 acre area of progressing fire. Local citizens arrived and assisted with the fire line while crew attacked the fire.
