At 4:07am The engine company, Truck company, and the tanker were alerted on Box 16-1 for a working garage fire impinging on a house. Co.7 and Co.16 units arrived on the scene to a large detached garage with heavy fire showing and requested the safety assignment and tanker task force. Truck 6 made the response with 3 and went to work opening up and softening the building for ET7’s crews and assisted with fire tac on side Charlie. E-61 assisted with scene lighting and T06 assisted with water supply. Crews operated for approximately 4 and a half hours before returning due to extensive overhaul.
