BOX AREA 8-5 House Fire

03:59 hours. Units from five counties were dispatched for a house on fire 2237 Boteler Rd. Lt. 11 (Payne) arrived on scene with a "working fire". Command was established by Deputy Chief 8 (Wachter). Crews from Paramedic/Engine Tanker 8 and Medic 691 initiated an aggressive interior attack. Crews brought the fire under control approximately 10-15 minutes after initial attack. The house sustained heavy interior damage, prompting a call for the Red Cross. Units cleared at 07:47 hours.
