Engine 81 from the Rohrersville Road Station was alerted on the 11 box for a reported house fire. Paramedic 1820 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing. Safety Assignment and Tanker Groups were requested. P1820 advised there was now heavy fire on the first floor. LT11 arrived and assumed command. Additional Tankers were eventually requested due to to lack of available water in the area, the Brownsville Pond (Drained to near empty for repairs) was not usable for the water shuttle operations and Tankers from as far away as Frederick City were requested. Two Firefighters received minor burns attempting an interior attack.
