On November 4, 2019 @ 18:29 Washington County ECC Dispatched Engine Company 6 to 401 Potomac Street (Boonsboro Library) for a Commercial AFA, call was immediately upgraded to a commercial building fire with staff on scene advising smoke in the building adding CO1, CO8, FE8, CO12, TRK6, TRK3, RS69, R69, SO20, SAF101. Safety 101 (Lloyd) arrived on location first and initially advised nothing evident from the exterior, and later advised smoke coming from the mechanical room on the Charlie side. Engine 62 arrived and laid 4" Supply line from Potomac Street and took up position on the Bravo side. Deputy 6 established the command and Chief 6 with the investigation group. Crews found a motor on a circulating pump in the mechanical room on fire, power was secured to the motor, building was ventilated with no further damage to the building
